Please join us on Wednesday, November 14, 7 p.m., at the Virginia Theatre in Champaign, IL, for the premiere of ACT YOUR AGE. Formerly titled ANGST, this drama-comedy includes scenes shot at the Virginia and features Michael Muhney, a three-year regular on VERONICA MARS, in his first starring role. Michael is on fire, also starring opposite Val Kilmer in COLUMBUS DAY, Michael Madsen and Stacy Keach in THE PORTAL, and Anne Archer and Beau Bridges in the TV movie, FAMILY PRACTICE.
ACT YOUR AGE also features the late Pat Morita (THE KARATE KID, HAPPY DAYS) in one of his final roles, Adrienne Frantz (THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL), Eddie Jones (SEABISCUIT, GHOST WHISPERER), Max Gail (BARNEY MILLER), Frank Nicotero (STREET SMARTS), Mark Allan Stewart (HEROES), and Amber Benson (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER).
Logline: Lake, an out-of-work actor, is unable to prove himself as an actor. In a desperate move, he puts on prosthetics to disguise himself as an old man to get a lead role in a Broadway-bound play. Lake reluctantly registers into a rest home to do research for his character but soon discovers that his conceptions of growing old are misguided. To both dramatic and comedic effect, he begins to find a new lease on life through the various relationships he forms.
