More MUMMY + 25by25by5 update
Chris Lukeman, director/ringleader of UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS VS. A MUMMY, confirmed yesterday that the viewing public would have three chances to catch this epic Illini Film & Video project over the weekend, not just two.
In addition to the previously scheduled shows at Noyes Lab (see item: 4/15/06), the Spurlock Museum, 600 S. Gregory St., Urbana, IL, on the University of Illinois campus, will host the horror-comedy on Sunday, April 23, 2 p.m., in the Knight Auditorium. Admission is free for all shows. Also, LK Hansen, co-director of the Champaign-Urbana 25by25by5 Short Film Contest, an awareness builder and benefit for the local Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (see item: 4/9/06), announced that the registration deadline for entering the challenge has been extended to Sunday, April 30, which also remains the final deadline for turning in film entries.
