C-U CONFIDENTIAL | The \u2018Zine of Our Scene<\/strong><\/p>\n

Falling somewhere in between cinema journal and fanzine, C-U Confidential<\/span><\/strong> takes a year-in-review approach to summarizing the film culture of Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> through original coverage and reprints from C-U Blogfidential<\/span><\/strong>. We began issuing CUZine<\/span><\/strong> annually in 2007 to provide attendees of Roger Ebert\u2019s Film Festival<\/strong> a look at the immediate community of artists and creators in downstate Illinois<\/strong> they would not otherwise learn about through the event itself. As of April 2020, after publishing 10 print issues over a 12-year span and distributing them for free<\/em> thanks to the generous support of contributors, volunteers, and advertisers, we are contemplating whether to transform CUZine<\/span><\/strong> into a print-on-demand product or download for electronic readers. It costs to continue this bona fide<\/em> do-it-yourself endeavor, so we will always humbly accept financial support through our PayPal<\/strong> option<\/span><\/a> and specified GoFundMe<\/strong> campaigns<\/span><\/a>. Below you will find summaries and cover art for all issues to date.
