Seven years, seven print issues, and two blogs later, the Magazine of Personal Cinema in Action has served up hundreds of writings on contemporary independent cinema, so here\u2019s to many more!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I&#8217;d like to\u00a0thank all the past and present Champaign-Urbana\u00a0friends who have contributed to <strong>MICRO-FILM<\/strong>&#8216;s integrity and longetivity, and also to the area filmmakers who have pretty much accepted that their creative business is\u00a0an integral part to this venture, whether or\u00a0not they understand it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Finally, I&#8217;d like to leave the Comments field on this post open for the next two weeks for those who might be interested in offering their thoughts on where\u00a0<strong>MICRO-FILM<\/strong> and downstate cinema have come since 1999.
