The time travel drama starring <strong>Steffany Huckaby, Michael Muhney, Amanda Troop, Holmes Osbourne, Eddie Jones<\/strong>, and <strong>Tami Erin<\/strong> makes its <strong>7 p.m.<\/strong> debut at <strong>Foellinger Auditorium<\/strong> on the <strong>University of Illinois<\/strong> campus in <strong>Urbana<\/strong>. <strong>DISCONNECT<\/strong> would closely follow its predecessor into the <strong>United States<\/strong> entertainment marketplace by a few weeks in early 2011 as a DVD edition issued by <strong>Osiris Entertainment<\/strong>. If you can imagine, the front door of his undisclosed venue \u2013 consider it the closest equivalent for films to an unadvertised indie rock \u201chouse show\u201d you might run across in <strong>Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> \u2013 opens up to a lengthy hallway with enough room for attendees to sit side-by-side and a few rows deep while easily taking in the action at its far end. Hallways has invited media makers, authors, and musicians to appear at events, sometimes via <strong>Skype<\/strong>, and allows for an intimate experience of modern intelligentsia shared by up to 20 people at a time. In the spirit of cross-pollinating disciplines, the program \u201c<strong>Outlier<\/strong>\u201d will present a m\u00e9lange of short subjects and interview segments that provide an introduction to Conrad, whom Gracon considers a mentor from his formative years as an undergraduate studying at <strong>SUNY-Buffalo<\/strong>, bridged by performances from Urbana outfit <strong>Obsolete Synthesis<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Hallways Microcinema @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/564445583638716\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gracon has cautioned on <strong>Facebook<\/strong><\/a><\/span> that this Hallways, set to begin at \u201c<strong>9 p.m.<\/strong> sharp\u201d on <strong>Sat., 6\/11<\/strong>, may be the last Hallways in the current location, so no moment like the present to rate his overall effort as \u201c<strong>FOW<\/strong>\u201d for keeping the faith on the esoteric end of the cinema spectrum.
