If a disarmingly humorous and sporadically vulgar movie caper is what you seek, then might we suggest the one that is <em>not<\/em> in theaters everywhere \u2013 the \u201cthug life\u201d send-up <strong>KEANU<\/strong> (<strong>New Line Cinema\/Warner Home Video<\/strong>) starring <strong>Keegan-Michael Key<\/strong> and <strong>Jordan Peele<\/strong> and directed by <strong>Peter Atencio<\/strong>, all formerly of the <strong>KEY &amp; PEELE<\/strong> show on <strong>Comedy Central<\/strong>. We have generally liked what we\u2019ve seen of the duo on the small screen, while previews for the feature have promised a few wild laughs if nothing particularly cutting or deep, so this could be what cures your summertime blues. A bonus \u201cWTF\u201d goes out to all the quick-to-condemn film critics, even-quicker-to-bite-back fan base, and not-exactly-quick-witted filmmakers and studio who together are making <strong>SUICIDE SQUAD<\/strong> (<strong>Warner Bros.<\/strong>) a losing proposition in the superhero and pop culture sweepstakes even if it makes bank.
