We really haven\u2019t cooked up seasonal topics for you this year, considering how much overall we need to share, but we\u2019re happy to drop this occult-flavored slab on your plate and mark the ooky occasion! Once scheduled to world premiere at the <strong>Art Theater Co-op<\/strong> on <strong>October 19<\/strong> but postponed at the last minute, <strong>DEVOTION<\/strong> is the first full-length narrative effort from Art Theater employee and independent filmmaker <strong>Jessie Seitz<\/strong>, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Q&amp;A du C-U: Jessie Seitz :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=8733\" target=\"_blank\">whom we talked with early last year<\/a><\/span> about her short subject <strong>FIVE<\/strong>. The Internet is pretty much devoid of tangible evidence about the <strong>Capricorn Rising Films<\/strong> production other than a few <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Capricorn Rising Films @ Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_CapricornFilms\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Twitter<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Capricorn Rising Films @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/capricornrisingfilms\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Facebook<\/strong><\/a><\/span> posts as well as the dialogue-free teaser trailer we present to you right here. With scenes filmed in recognizable spots like the Art and the <strong>University of Illinois<\/strong>\u2019 <strong>Allerton Park<\/strong> in <strong>Monticello<\/strong>, but primarily shot in <strong>Decatur<\/strong> where Seitz grew up, <strong>DEVOTION<\/strong> sports a cast including <strong>Haley Madison<\/strong> (<strong>IN MEMORY OF<\/strong>), <strong>Erin Brown<\/strong> (<strong>SHADOW: DEAD RIOT<\/strong>), and <strong>Linnea Quigley<\/strong> (<strong>THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD<\/strong>) that may register far more to genre film fans than followers of local movies and theater. Certainly, we will report on the whereabouts of Seitz\u2019s creation when more details arise! Her other recent activities include an acting role in the upcoming <strong>WOODSMAN: FOREST OF PAIN<\/strong>, co-directed by <strong>Louis C.
