This included placement in <strong>Family Video<\/strong> locations across <strong>North America<\/strong> and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"BAD COMPANY :: Redbox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.redbox.com\/movies\/bad-company\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">additional exposure in <strong>Redbox<\/strong> kiosks nationwide<\/a><\/span> thanks to the connections of <strong>MTI Home Video<\/strong>, the long-running genre label that <a title=\"BAD COMPANY :: MTI Home Video\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mtivideo.com\/TitleView.aspx?TITLE_ID=924\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">picked up the rights to <strong>BAD COMPANY<\/strong><\/span><\/a> from sales agent <strong>Artist View Entertainment<\/strong>. Other than securing international distribution for the project, previously called <strong>LOWLIFES<\/strong>, this clears the deck for Dreamscape as all the studio\u2019s completed features are now in commercial release with most available via <strong>Amazon<\/strong> streaming. You can access the older catalog \u2013 <strong>SHEEBA, DISCONNECT, ACT YOUR AGE, MY DOG THE SPACE TRAVELER<\/strong>, and the VOD-only <strong>DISPOSABLE<\/strong> \u2013 at <a title=\"Robin Christian @ Amazon Prime Video\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/s\/ref=atv_dp_pd_dir?url=search-alias%3Dinstant-video&amp;field-keywords=%22Robin%20Christian%22&amp;rh=k:Robin%20Christian%2Cn:2858778011&amp;ie=UTF8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">this Amazon search result<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Starring up-and-coming talents like <strong>Booboo Stewart<\/strong> (<strong>X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST<\/strong>), <strong>Giselle Bonilla<\/strong> (<strong>FREEDOM WRITERS<\/strong>), <strong>Kyle Massey<\/strong> (<strong>THAT\u2019S SO RAVEN<\/strong>), <strong>Madelyn Deutch<\/strong> (<strong>THE YEAR OF SPECTACULAR MEN<\/strong>), and <strong>Quinton Aaron<\/strong> (<strong>THE BLIND SIDE<\/strong>) as well as veteran actors like <strong>William Atherton<\/strong> (<strong>DIE HARD<\/strong>), <strong>Christopher Judge<\/strong> (<strong>STARGATE SG-1<\/strong>), <strong>Tzi Ma<\/strong> (<strong>THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE<\/strong>), and <strong>Mark Derwin<\/strong> (<strong>THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER<\/strong>), the film follows a group of teenagers that is enrolled in a disciplinary boot camp and becomes isolated when a rogue militia invades the immediate countryside. Troop members who survive an early search-and-destroy sweep by the invaders must put aside their pasts and band together in order to thwart a scheme to disable the nearby nuclear plant. Other than aiming to produce a yarn that is exciting and colorful, <a title=\"\u2018Monticello filmmaker brings Hollywood types to East Central Illinois for latest project\u2019 by Steve Hoffmann :: The News-Gazette\" href=\"http:\/\/www.news-gazette.com\/arts-entertainment\/local\/2013-08-18\/monticello-filmmaker-brings-hollywood-types-east-central-illinoi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Christian took inspiration from the <strong>Lincoln\u2019s Challenge Academy<\/strong> in <strong>Rantoul<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and their serious mission to help wayward youth turn around their lives so they may be productive or even heroic in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b2AsCNuATkY\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The disc reproduces the film adequately \u2013 we can\u2019t help but be impressed by the look of sequences involving woodlands and farm country, lushly captured by veteran cinematographer <strong>Bruce Logan<\/strong> (<strong>TRON, JACKSON COUNTY JAIL<\/strong>) \u2013 yet is barren of extras other than removable subtitles and trailers for MTI fare. (A similar fate befell this year\u2019s other commercial releases of locally filmed features, <strong>CONSUMED<\/strong> and <strong>BEFORE \u2018I DO\u2019<\/strong>, although <strong>SHOT<\/strong> benefited from <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"SHOT BD provides thud-filled rush :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=12026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">landing at a collector\u2019s label that regularly supplements its titles with bonus content<\/a><\/span>.) You can segue to <a title=\"BAD COMPANY @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/badcompanymovie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">the official Facebook page<\/span><\/a> for a closer look behind the scenes or <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"\u2018Booboo Stewart fan site\u2019 search :: Google\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=booboo+stewart+fan+site&amp;ei=lT-dW8mhK8zMjwSF95XICQ&amp;start=0&amp;sa=N&amp;biw=1708&amp;bih=818\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">locate any fan site devoted to buff <strong>TWILIGHT<\/strong> star Stewart<\/a><\/span> for a peek at the actor in character and then, <em>maybe<\/em>, something else <strong>BAD COMPANY<\/strong>. Christian\u2019s current ensemble has recently wrapped the next Dreamscape production, a bull shark-in-the-Midwest-river saga called <strong>BELOW<\/strong>, and is now filming pickup shots in <strong>Illinois<\/strong> and <strong>Missouri<\/strong>. We\u2019ll talk about that a bit more in an upcoming post.
