Hate to be the bearer of sad news, even if I\u2019ve been dropping hints in articles and posts about it lately, but I can verify the eight-year run of the <strong>New Art Film Festival<\/strong>\u2019s official website has come to a tentative end. Maintained by <a title=\"ThirdSide :: Home Page\" href=\"https:\/\/thirdside.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">our gracious friends and sponsors at <strong>ThirdSide<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, the site served as a sort of companion barometer to <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">C-U Blogfidential<\/span><\/strong> that introduced visitors to the wide world of our self-made cinema in its own way. Since the festival is currently dormant, so is ThirdSide\u2019s obligation to trade their service. If you <a title=\"New Art Film Festival :: Parked URL\" href=\"https:\/\/newartfilmfestival.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">attempt to access it at <strong>newartfilmfestival [dot] com<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, the redirect will gently <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"New Art Film Festival @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/newartfilmfestival\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">port you over to the <strong>Facebook<\/strong> presence<\/a><\/span>. I will share announcements on all fronts should we have movement with the NAFF in the future. In my cinematic heart, I believe the NAFF deserves a more constructive and honorable ending than where we\u2019ve arrived. It would be exponentially nice to learn the <strong>Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> community feels the same with or without an operational <strong>Art Theater<\/strong> in tow.
