One is the debut feature-length project from <strong>Shut Up and Do It Productions<\/strong> of <strong>Champaign<\/strong>, <strong>DOGS IN QUICKSAND<\/strong>, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Q&amp;A du C-U: Mike Trippiedi, pt.2 :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=4708\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">which was filmed by writer\/director <strong>Mike Trippiedi<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and cinematographer\/editor <strong>Bill Yauch<\/strong> with cast and crew in numerous <strong>Champaign County<\/strong> locations during the summer of 1997. Although several of their recent video shorts have played in regional film festivals, earned awards in competition, and received coverage in periodicals friendly to the emerging \u201cbackyard cinema\u201d movement in America such as <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"BUCKY McSNEAD review :: Film Threat\" href=\"https:\/\/filmthreat.com\/uncategorized\/bucky-mcsnead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Film Threat<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Shock Cinema :: Home Page\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shockcinemamagazine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Shock Cinema<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span>, <strong>DOGS<\/strong> is the first effort to be made widely available to the general public in any format.
