Much closer to home, downstate Gibson City<\/strong> was engulfed by flooding<\/a><\/span> last week and their townsfolk are struggling to clean up. The owners of the Harvest Moon Twin Drive-In<\/strong> are turning their own fundraiser into a donation site for their neighbors<\/a><\/span>, given how their customer base managed to meet their original $5,000 goal in just over a day. And then, close to the heart, we feel for our friend Gerry Kissell<\/strong>, the Missouri<\/strong>-based science-fiction and wartime artist and podcaster<\/a><\/span> who lost nearly all his possessions in a house fire; here is a campaign to help Kissell and family get back on their feet<\/a><\/span>.
