As I haven\u2019t revealed before, I\u2019d also like to put on the belated 10th <strong>New Art Film Festival<\/strong> even though our venues are being flighty with staying open consistently and as long as my interest in it doesn\u2019t run completely dry. As you\u2019ve probably figured by now, I\u2019d even like to extend the life of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">C-U Blogfidential<\/span><\/strong> and its social media for a while longer. As you may or may not want to hear, all this reel life has an ill-defined expiration date on my conscience and the packages will be stamped accurately when I\u2019m ready. At long last, real life has to move back ahead of reel life. This may spell the ultimate end of everything I\u2019ve been trying to do for more than 20 years, and I may have to accept it. I should prioritize the continued needs of <strong>Ma JaPan<\/strong> and my stepfather, even though both are now under skilled nursing care, my continued and tenuous work with the <strong>Urbana<\/strong> office that I know will not last indefinitely, and the back-breaking effort to corral the house on the edge of an American small town into saleable shape almost all by myself, which I\u2019m not looking forward to given what I experienced a year ago in vacating the <strong>Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters<\/strong> in ungodly short order. Did you even realize that I haven\u2019t been a citizen of <strong>Champaign<\/strong> for almost 13 months now? Do you care? I <em>have<\/em> to because, whether it\u2019s all talk-talk or action, it\u2019s my life. Don\u2019t forget about yours truly or the Confidential project, dearest readers, unless you already have. Yet, I can move on, too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tomorrow would have been <strong>Pappy JaPan<\/strong>\u2019s 95th birthday and, on Monday, my <strong>Grandma Ski<\/strong>\u2019s 100th. They have both been gone for some time. I miss them and a multitude of other family members, friends, places, and things that used to make my life a lot happier and more fulfilled. \u201cLong in the tooth\u201d doesn\u2019t come close to describing accurately what my existence today is like, forget the lingering effects of the current climate in our communities and country. I feel ragged at age 51.
