We will summarize that it involves the premiere of the Fifties sci-fi <em>homage <\/em><strong>IT CAME FROM SOMEWHERE<\/strong> from Chicagoland\u2019s <strong>Acrostar Films<\/strong> at the <strong>Princess Theatre<\/strong> in <strong>LeRoy<\/strong> on <strong>Saturday, November 12<\/strong>, another premiere at the <strong>Hoogland Center for the Arts<\/strong> in <strong>Springfield<\/strong> on <strong>Monday, November 14<\/strong>, for the documentary <strong>POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS<\/strong>, produced by <strong>Il Ponte Film Group<\/strong> of <strong>Chicago<\/strong> and executive produced by <strong>THE BIG LEBOWSKI<\/strong> actor <strong>John Turturro<\/strong>, about the detainment of Italian-Americans in our country during <strong>World War II<\/strong>, and the in-person awards ceremony and screenings of the 21st annual <strong>Route 66 Film Festival<\/strong> of Springfield, also at the Hoogland this Saturday beginning at <strong>11 a.m.<\/strong>, that will include a raft of guest presenters including capital city politicians, media personalities, filmmakers, actors, and, of all people,<strong> Chris Kattan<\/strong> from <strong>SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE<\/strong>. <strong>Facebook<\/strong> perusing tells us that reenactment scenes for <strong>DANGEROUS<\/strong> and much of <strong>SOMEWHERE<\/strong> were filmed in Springfield and <strong>Farmer City\/Dewey<\/strong>, respectively.
