And on the third day, your humble editor reminisces over a childhood that included yearly trips to the kitsch amusement park <strong>Santa\u2019s Village<\/strong> in the <strong>Chicago<\/strong> suburb of <strong>East Dundee<\/strong>; while <a title=\"Santa\u2019s Village Amusement &amp; Water Park :: Home Page\" href=\"https:\/\/santasvillagedundee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">an upgraded slant on the attraction survives at the same location<\/span><\/a>, we can\u2019t drift away into our candy cane slumber without evoking <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"'The Santaland Trilogy' :: DVD Party\" href=\"https:\/\/dvdrparty.com\/product\/the-santaland-trilogy-1964-1968-k-gordon-murray-usa-christmas-theme-park-dvd-r\/]\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the borderline nightmare of <strong>K. Gordon Murray<\/strong>\u2019s three <strong>Santa Claus<\/strong> shorts<\/a><\/span>, partly related to his many Mexican cinema imports and partly filmed on location at Santa\u2019s Villages in <strong>Illinois<\/strong> and <strong>California<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"SANTA\u2019S ENCHANGED VILLAGE @ Tubi\" href=\"https:\/\/tubitv.com\/movies\/697557\/santa-s-enchanted-village?start=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here for a relatively clean copy<\/a><\/span> of one of K.\u2019s \u201cSantaland\u201d trilogy, <strong>SANTA\u2019S ENCHANTED VILLAGE<\/strong> (1964), which starts off with an unexpected introduction by everybody\u2019s favorite fast-food chucking, orange-haired clown, and we don\u2019t mean the 45th president of the <strong>United States of America<\/strong>. Yes, we said it and could say <em>much<\/em> more.
