On the second day, we belatedly share this News-Gazette<\/span><\/strong> article<\/a><\/span> about the newest Dreamscape Cinema<\/strong> movie, A FARGO CHRISTMAS STORY<\/strong>, which is going to debut shortly on Amazon Prime<\/strong> given the placeholder page that we found<\/a><\/span>; we also hope this dramedy, filmed largely in nearby St. Joseph<\/strong> and potentially the on-screen swan song of the great Edward Asner<\/strong>, is many leagues better in quality than the studio\u2019s shark attack flick, BELOW<\/strong>, which washed ashore on Prime earlier in the fall. And on the third day, your humble editor reminisces over a childhood that included yearly trips to the kitsch amusement park Santa\u2019s Village<\/strong> in the Chicago<\/strong> suburb of East Dundee<\/strong>; while an upgraded slant on the attraction survives at the same location<\/span><\/a>, we can\u2019t drift away into our candy cane slumber without evoking the borderline nightmare of K. Gordon Murray<\/strong>\u2019s three Santa Claus<\/strong> shorts<\/a><\/span>, partly related to his many Mexican cinema imports and partly filmed on location at Santa\u2019s Villages in Illinois<\/strong> and California<\/strong>.
