Fourth and final, I listened last night to <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"\u2018Reaper\u2019s Underground\u2019 page @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reapersunderground\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the livestream Web show \u201c<strong>Reaper\u2019s Underground<\/strong>,\u201d<\/a><\/span> hosted by the death metal musician and horror aficionado \u201c<strong>Reaper<\/strong>\u201d of <strong>Omaha, Nebraska<\/strong>, in which he Zoomed with the cast and crew of <a title=\"Calendar: June 23-29, 2023 :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=15395\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Acrost<span style=\"color: #800000;\">ar Films<\/span><\/strong>\u2019 <strong>ATTACK OF THE CORN ZOMBIES<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for a very pleasant hour of indie film banter. There is a fun fellow underneath the duochrome makeup and I thought he was generous in how <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"ATTACK OF THE CORN ZOMBIES livestream :: \u2018Reaper\u2019s Underground\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/zAICB3daf8k?feature=share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he led the Acrostar family through all the expected talking points<\/a><\/span>. Queue up any combination of these programs over the weekend and you\u2019re guaranteed to have a good time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>CONFIDENTIAL ALMANAC | Dates in Film Culture History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>25 Years Ago<\/strong> \u2026 <em>July 1998:<\/em> <strong>Columbia College of Chicago<\/strong> student <strong>Melissa Schmitt<\/strong> and her crew spend three consecutive weekends at <strong>Ned Kelly\u2019s Steakhouse<\/strong> on <strong>N. Cunningham Avenue<\/strong> in <strong>Urbana<\/strong> to film her thesis project, <strong>OPEN TO CLOSE<\/strong>, much of their efforts taking place after business hours in the dead of night. Schmitt, a transplant to the area whose father helps run the restaurant, cast local talent to act in her short, which explores the strained relationship between budding moviemaker Rosie Powe (<strong>Gemma Wall<\/strong>) and her manager father Rob (<strong>Mark Alan Hudson<\/strong>) as they muscle through a hectic evening shift together. <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MICRO-FILM<\/span><\/strong> editor <strong>Jason Pankoke<\/strong> serves as a production assistant and set photographer during the shoot, the first of its kind that he either witnesses or takes part in as a <strong>Champaign<\/strong> resident.
