It is located on <strong>North Market Street<\/strong> in the far north reaches of <strong>Champaign<\/strong>, roughly where the <strong>Salvation Army Family Store<\/strong> and <strong>Great Value Storage<\/strong> are sitting today. Owner and manager <strong>John Barr<\/strong> installed 600 car speakers and several benches on the lot to allow for a good-sized crowd, <a title=\"Cited in \u2018Twin Cities Drive-In\u2019 by Joe Slepski, under \u2018The History of Cinema in Urbana-Champaign\u2019 menu :: UIUC Unit for Cinema Studies [archived by Wayback Machine]\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20011109052255\/http:\/\/www.uiuc.edu:80\/unit\/cinema\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">according to several reports<\/span><\/a> published in the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Champaign-Urbana Courier<\/span><\/strong> as construction took place, but would add square footage to the screen and more than 100 additional parking spaces in the months following the Twin City\u2019s debut to meet popular demand.
