But, we\u2019re still a few days away from the 31st and enjoyment of the spooky kind doesn\u2019t really evaporate at the first light of <strong>All Saints Day<\/strong>, so we can point you towards a few cracks and crevices that you could investigate on top of what still lies in wait on the <strong>Calendar<\/strong> dates listed below. Bwa ha <em>ha<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To that end, we\u2019ve decided to highlight our online friends in this report who are dancing with the spirit(s) of the season and we\u2019ll hopefully stitch together a bonus post or two in the next week to pin down the tail end of our terrifying non\/theatrical treats for October. <strong>Chase &amp; Shep<\/strong> have been running like bosses over the last two months as most of their Monday night livecasts have been spent with horror storytellers working in our region like <strong>Ash Hamilton, John Isberg, Ben Harl<\/strong>, and <strong>Joshua Brucker<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"THE EXORCISM OF CHASE &amp; SHEP :: \u2018Chase &amp; Shep\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/u5W8sc7904k?si=nx2uFAbKtP7Gy2Sb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">They also unleashed the annual C&amp;S horror comedy<\/a><\/span>, <strong>THE EXORCISM OF CHASE &amp; SHEP<\/strong>, back on <strong>Friday, October 13<\/strong>, wherein the duo fall victim to the dark powers of their recurring nemesis, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">El Libro de Los Muertos<\/span>, and it takes the efforts of their landlord (<strong>Tyler Ellis<\/strong>), a trio of late-night priests on the sketchy side (<strong>Ryan Phillips, Liam Schaver<\/strong>, and Hamilton), and a divine intervention to save their asses if not also their souls. Already, <a title=\"Chase &amp; Shep @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@ChaseAndShep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>EXORCISM<\/strong> has spawned black-and-white as well as narrated editions up on <strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Dave Rediger<\/strong>, who plays Chase &amp; Shep\u2019s rather confused neighbor in <strong>EXORCISM<\/strong>, continues to co-host the \u201c<strong>Saturday Morning<\/strong>\u201d skit program from <strong>Camp Nostalgic Studios\u2122<\/strong> with collaborator and musician <strong>Alex Duquette<\/strong>; <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"SATURDAY MORNING, \u2018Who is the Most Responsible Witch?\u2019 :: \u2018Camp Nostalgic Studios\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/EuzQGDiqyFs?si=gn53kpfgGRbqfOKA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in the most recent episode posted on <strong>October 7<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, \u201c<strong>Who is the Most Responsible Witch?<\/strong>\u201d, the duo attempts to answer the question by toiling over the trouble caused by many a familiar pop culture conjurer despite their best intentions. Camp Nostalgic also <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"UNDERGROUND :: \u2018Camp Nostalgic Studios\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/3OqKPCnOnjU?si=-gXbATC2nD3a-fhx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released a limited animation short for the season called <strong>UNDERGROUND<\/strong><\/a><\/span>; conceived of and illustrated by <strong>Gela Rediger<\/strong> with sound design by Duquette, it dramatizes what happens when a woman wakes up in subterranean surroundings a little too late for her own good. The group also records live music, comedy, and other events <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Camp Nostalgic Studios @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@campnostalgicstudios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as displayed on YouTube<\/a><\/span> and is branching out to work with businesses and creatives in east central <strong>Illinois<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On a cheekier note, our chap <strong>Andy Due<\/strong> of <strong>Rubber Chicken Films<\/strong> in <strong>Charleston<\/strong> recently debuted a new edition of <strong>THE ANY DUE SHOW<\/strong> in which <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"THE ANDY DUE SHOW, \u2018Quasimodo &amp; Esmeralda\u2019 sketch :: \u2018Rubber Chicken Films\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/TEA0MG-k9kc?si=Ba4NhNS1OwyOjpGD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the fetching Esmeralda (<strong>Zoe Due<\/strong>) attempts to convince Quasimodo (Mr. Due in a <strong>Lon Chaney, Sr.<\/strong>, guise) to leave his tower and visit the village below<\/a><\/span> but, of course, the hunchback has his caveats; Due continues mining the tropes of silent and Golden Age <strong>Hollywood<\/strong> as well as classic television and Anglophile media for comedy in <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Rubber Chicken Films @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NUh6jMy-ybg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an effort that always rings sincere<\/a><\/span>. On a weirder note, our man <strong>Shea Kelly<\/strong> of <strong>A Thousand Yard Stare Productions<\/strong> in <strong>Decatur<\/strong> is deep into the second season of <strong>FILMWAR!<\/strong>, an hour-long vidcast in which the show\u2019s recurring contestants do their best to out-guess each other in film trivia while ducking the cutting remarks of host Kelly; dropping today, <strong>October 27<\/strong>, is <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"FILMWAR!
