Thank you for your readership, CUvians and Agents!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>IMAGERY DU C-U | Picturing Our Scene on the Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In a week where we have the novelty of <em>two<\/em> features opening wide in American theaters that were set and filmed in Chicagoland, <strong>THE BIKERIDERS<\/strong> from <strong>Focus Features<\/strong> and <strong>GHOSTLIGHT<\/strong> from <strong>IFC Films<\/strong>, as well as the welcome return of a durable Windy City classic, <strong>THE BLUES BROTHERS<\/strong>, at the <strong>Normal Theater<\/strong> on <strong>Thursday, June 27<\/strong>, we also have<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"HOLIDAY HOLD-UP trailer :: \u2018Nicely Entertainment\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/FHMTXIKlRAo?si=0jt1MZuHUbjEhpac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the trailer debut for <strong>HOLIDAY HOLD-UP<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, a co-production of <strong>Chicago<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>The Line Film Company<\/strong> and <a title=\"HOLIDAY HOLD-UP :: Darkly Entertainment\" href=\"https:\/\/www.darklyentertainment.com\/catalog\/holiday-hold-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Darkly Entert<span style=\"color: #800000;\">ainment<\/span><\/strong> of <strong>Los Angeles<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. A caper that pits disgruntled restaurant employees against their boss\u2019 gambling racket, <strong>HOLIDAY<\/strong> was filmed largely in early 2023 at <strong>Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> locations like the former <strong>Blind Pig<\/strong> pub, seen below, and stars <strong>Agnes Albright<\/strong> and <strong>Jeremy Holm<\/strong> from Line and <strong>Shatterglass Films<\/strong>\u2019 <strong>BLACK MOLD<\/strong> along with <strong>John Pirruccello, Emma Jo Boyden, Matty Ryan<\/strong>, and <strong>James Houton<\/strong>. Directors are <strong>Kyko Claudio, Michele B. Office bets will be placed as to whether <strong>HOLIDAY<\/strong> can secure a commercial theatrical release unlike so many prior pictures du C-U.
