Also on YouTube, our local friend <strong>Colin Price<\/strong> has resumed his genre film vlog reviews at the <strong>Priceless B Movies<\/strong> channel after a several-year hiatus; <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"\u2018Priceless B Movies: 2001 Maniacs\u2019 :: \u2018Colin Price\u2019 channel @ YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/jqjjR4Tvclo?si=MEnYkyVMvpJUr-IP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his first analysis back is of <strong>2001 MANIACS<\/strong><\/a><\/span> with <strong>Robert Englund<\/strong> and<strong> Lin Shaye<\/strong>, and we\u2019re certain he has a big off-screen list of what he\u2019d like to pontificate over next. To conclude, those in the job market for something higher-profile and metropolitan might take a good look at <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"Careers :: Midwest Film Festival\" href=\"https:\/\/www.midwestfilm.com\/careers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the just-opened position of Executive Director<\/a><\/span> at the <strong>Midwest Film Festival<\/strong> based in <strong>Chicago<\/strong>; naturally, the application deadline is at the end of the month, so if you seriously want to consider a gig like this \u2013 part-time, decent pay, film culture concentrated \u2013 your moment is nigh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>IMAGERY DU C-U | Picturing Our Scene on the Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In March 1999, we fired off our original \u2018zine, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MICRO-FILM: The Warning Shot<\/span><\/strong>. In August 1999, we went \u201cExtra, extra!\u201d with the first issue of our local film culture \u2018zine in newsletter form, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MICRO-Scope<\/span><\/strong>, the front of which is pictured below and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"It was 15 years, 8 days ago\u2026 :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=7732\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the history of which <strong>Ye Ed<\/strong> wrote up here<\/a><\/span>. 25 years ago, we were also in the throes of concocting what would become the debut issue of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MICRO-FILM<\/span><\/strong>, which we unleashed upon the world in October 1999. And now, with <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MF<\/span> effectively dormant for more than a decade, there\u2019s not much else for us to say or do about it on its impending anniversary. We think. We\u2019ll see. A timely and creative rebirth for your humble editor and friends would not be unwelcome, within reason.
