How else can we take our minds off of the drab? Why, with a little foreshadowing, of course, as we look two months ahead when the real Spring will be in full swing and the <strong>Boneyard Arts Festival<\/strong> will once again flood <strong>Champaign County<\/strong> with tons of creative expression. We\u2019ll be too busy to enjoy much of the cornucopia, though\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You may recall that <a title=\"CUZineShow to kick ass Apr. 17! :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=734\" target=\"_blank\">we infiltrated this four-day extravaganza last year<\/a> with the first-ever <strong>C-U Confidential Local Movie Show<\/strong>, during which we presented two dozen trailers and shorts at Urbana\u2019s <strong>Caffe Paradiso<\/strong> as proof positive that creative filmmaking occurs in the places where we live. Even though several friends of <strong>C-U Blogfidential<\/strong> ribbed your humble editor because they couldn\u2019t attend due to simultaneous Boneyard activities, the event still attracted a good crowd of supportive acquaintances and perfect strangers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So, shall we do it again? Resistance is probably futile in this case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We&#8217;ll happily reveal that talks have been progressing with <strong>Sanford Hess<\/strong> of the <strong>Art Theater<\/strong> to relocate the <strong>CUZineShow<\/strong> to downtown Champaign this year. We can also divulge that, even though Boneyard\u2019s \u201cChampaign spotlight\u201d day is <strong>Thursday, April 15<\/strong>, our projected schedule will launch that evening and span several days, leading right up to the start of the 12th annual <strong>Roger Ebert Film Festival<\/strong>! We can\u2019t spill any more specifics for the moment, but you know what to do \u2013 keep it tuned <em>right here<\/em> for more news!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We\u2019ll even confirm that <strong>C-U Confidential<\/strong>, the digest of the movies of Champaign, Urbana, and the cities beyond, is set to return with issue <strong>no.4<\/strong> in time for \u201c<strong>Ebertfest<\/strong>.\u201d During the coming weeks we\u2019ll reveal the cover design and contents as well as final data and deadlines for advertisers. (Remember that your dollars are <em>absolutely <\/em>necessary to keep this \u2018zine on the scene, so <em>please <\/em>do your part!) Unfortunately, we\u2019ll admit that the needs of a larger <strong>CUZineShow<\/strong> have pushed back our 10th anniversary <strong>CUZine\/MICRO-FILM<\/strong> publication; watch for that number to finally drop at summer\u2019s end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Back to the main topic, would <em>you <\/em>be interested in volunteering for the <strong>CUZineShow<\/strong>?
