If you <em>must <\/em>have the print version, watch this space closely as we\u2019ll soon launch a special sale to help us clear much-needed floor space inside the <strong>Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>PRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>CUBlog <\/strong>caught up with <strong>University of Illinois<\/strong> alumnus and <a title=\"ONE FINE DAY! :: Official Site\" href=\"http:\/\/www.onefinedaytv.com\/Home.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>ONE FINE DAY!<\/strong><\/a> co-creator <strong>Derek Klein<\/strong> last week to get the final word on his guerilla hour-long feature experiment <strong>A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW<\/strong>, which quietly hit DVD via <strong>Amazon<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>CreateSpace <\/strong>in May. \u201c<strong>POV <\/strong>was mainly a reunion project for the <strong>OFD!<\/strong> crew and a challenge to ourselves,\u201d says Klein, whose team shot the no-budget, reciprocal mystery-drama within six intensive days during the university\u2019s Spring Break of 2009. \u201cIt was never really intended for the festival circuit, but it has given a lot of the cast and crew the marks on their resumes to start pursuing careers in acting,\u201d he continues, \u201cand as for myself, the small projects at UIUC are what allowed me to progress as fast as I have out here in <strong>Hollywood <\/strong>\u2026 that was the original goal of both <strong>OFD!<\/strong> and <strong>POV<\/strong>, simply to provide film and television making experience at a university that still really has no film program. I consider these projects a success.\u201d <a title=\"Premonition Pictures :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/web.me.com\/derek.klein\/Premonition_Pictures\/Home.html\" target=\"_blank\">Following the game plan<\/a> of <strong>POV<\/strong>\u2019s screenwriter character Ben Falls \u2013 minus the pornographic material \u2013 Klein has been actively developing serialized Web projects in the hopes that they will be produced commercially. \u201cWe\u2019re actually pitching them to some networks so who knows, maybe you\u2019ll be able to catch them on cable one of these days,\u201d anticipates Klein. <a title=\"A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW @ Amazon.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Certain-Point-View-Elisha-Reichert\/dp\/B003MQNABU\/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1284006519&amp;sr=1-1\" target=\"_blank\">The DVD-R includes the full 63-minute movie, a commentary track by Klein and actor <strong>Connor Chambers<\/strong>, an alternate ending, a blooper reel, and the original trailer<\/a>.
