From <em>another <\/em>point of view \u2013 that of your humble editor\u2019s \u2013 it\u2019s better late than never that we provide some visuals to <a title=\"C-U Biz-en-sc\u00e8ne: 09.10.2010 :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=2127\" target=\"_blank\">accompany last week\u2019s discussion<\/a> of <a title=\"Premonition Pictures :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/web.me.com\/derek.klein\/Premonition_Pictures\/Home.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Premonition Pictures<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 <strong>A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW<\/strong> in this fifth go-round of <strong>Images of the Week<\/strong>! We start with the video below which is <em>not <\/em><a title=\"Premonition is now CERTAIN-ty :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=1107\" target=\"_blank\">the trailer we posted before<\/a> but proof positive that creators <strong>Derek Klein<\/strong> and <strong>Marc Morin, Jr.<\/strong>, are willing to gain fans by <em>giving to<\/em> the fans, particularly the ones attracted to their previous <strong>ONE FINE DAY!<\/strong> series. As you can surmise by visiting their <a title=\"A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW Part 1 @ YouTube\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uv_5AN6xft8\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a> and <a title=\"A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW @ DailyMotion\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymotion.com\/video\/xcxqq2_a-certain-point-of-view_shortfilms\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Daily Motion<\/strong><\/a> accounts (and, to a lesser extent, <a title=\"C-U Confidential Revue - Excerpts playlist @ YouTube\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/cuconfidential#grid\/user\/E5A1799F0389010A\" target=\"_blank\">the new \u201cExcerpts\u201d playlist on <strong>C-U Confidential Revue<\/strong><\/a>) <strong>POV <\/strong>has been made available in its entirety so if the mystery intrigues you \u2013 and, to be honest without giving anything away, we\u2019re not entirely convinced that <em>only <\/em>one killer is at work here \u2013 a trip away from <strong>CUBlog <\/strong>may be in order to watch the remainder:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><object width=\"450\" height=\"270\" classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/uv_5AN6xft8?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"450\" height=\"270\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/uv_5AN6xft8?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Creative backtracking tells the interlocking <strong>POV <\/strong>stories of several individuals living in \u201cChambana County\u201d (which technically does not exist) who wind up dead and buried in Hartley Gardens (which <em>does <\/em>exist as the <strong>Miles C. Hartley Selections Gardens<\/strong> in the <strong>University of Illinois<\/strong>\u2019 south campus arboretum, although \u201con the scene\u201d news footage seems to have been filmed elsewhere) by the hand of an apparent serial killer. Morin and Klein dramatize everything immediate that leads up to the crimes without depicting the deeds themselves, which affect no-budget porn film scribe Ben Falls (<strong>Prashanth Venkataramanujam<\/strong>), his bartender roommate Clark (<strong>Connor Chambers<\/strong>), mutual friend and possible love interest Wendy (<strong>Betsy Trevarthen<\/strong>), local Internet celebrity Lynda Bloom (<strong>Elisha Reichert<\/strong>), her vet professor fianc\u00e9 Tony (<strong>Lance Barke<\/strong>), and Web producer Heidi (<strong>Jessica DiLiberto<\/strong>). Fellow <strong>OFD!<\/strong> regulars <strong>Brittney Refakes<\/strong> and <strong>Leilani Marsh<\/strong> appear in supporting roles while newcomer <strong>Brittany Simons<\/strong> plays a reporter and <strong>Kyle Follansbee<\/strong> takes over as Drunk David from the series\u2019 <strong>Joseph M. Gardner<\/strong>. Unless, of course, there\u2019s room for more than one Drunk David in Chambana County &#8230; but we digress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On the final day of shooting during Spring Break 2009, <strong>CUBlog <\/strong>tagged along with Klein, Chambers, Trevarthen, and Venkataramanujam while they recorded Main Quad scenes which take place early in the story\u2019s chronology. Below, the director stages a sequence that will bring Ben and Wendy together for the first time thanks to the ill-timed swing of a book bag. As Connors waits patiently with the boom and microphone, Klein describes how Trevarthen will run up the sidewalk as Venkataramanujam acts distracted by an intense phone conversation\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Betsy Trevarthen, Prashanth Venkataramanujam, Derek Klein, and Connor Chambers stage a scene from A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW.
