Dries Lane, Peoria, IL<\/strong>. The Drunken Zombie Film Festival strives to showcase the best in truly independent horror films. In years past, we have been privileged to have such films as <strong>ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE<\/strong>, which went on to get worldwide distribution, <strong>OUTPOST DOOM<\/strong>, which has been selling out on DeadLantern.com, <strong>NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: REANIMATED<\/strong>, which has been winning awards all across the film festival circuit, and <strong>DON\u2019T GO INTO THE WOODS<\/strong>, which was created by a couple of 13- year-old kids and blew away a lot of people at last year\u2019s festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We have tickets for pre-sale at <a title=\"Drunken Zombie Film Festival :: Official Site\" href=\"http:\/\/drunkenzombiefilmfestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">drunkenzombiefilmfestival.com<\/a>. For the low price of $15, Weekend Passes can be purchased through <strong>PayPal<\/strong>. This is a $5 savings of buying Weekend Passes at the door. Day passes will also be available at the door for $10 for Friday and $15 for Saturday. There will be giveaways and Q&amp;As with the filmmakers in attendance. The hosts are <strong>Wes, Dave, Bryan<\/strong>, and <strong>Crazy Uncle Randy<\/strong>, who usually drink way too much and then discuss current happenings in the world of horror movies as well as reviewing a specific horror film. Past notable episodes have included an <strong>H.P. Lovecraft<\/strong> retrospective, <strong>Alfred Hitchcock<\/strong> Month which looked at his films <strong>THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY, REAR WINDOW, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, ROPE<\/strong>, and <strong>NORTH BY NORTHWEST<\/strong>, Children\u2019s Horror Month where they reviewed <strong>SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, LADY IN WHITE, THE GATE<\/strong>, and <strong>THE MONSTER SQUAD<\/strong>, and they are currently in Psycho September where they are reviewing the movies in the <strong>PSYCHO <\/strong>franchise.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Lord Blood-Rah<\/strong> <em>is an Internet horror host that has a well-received segment on the Drunken Zombie Podcast called <strong>Lord Blood-Rah\u2019s Bent Frame<\/strong> where he reviews classic horror films. Also, he hosts a <strong>YouTube<\/strong> show called <a title=\"Lord Blood-Rah's Tremulous Trailers channel @ YouTube\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/lordbloodrah\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Lord Blood-Rah\u2019s Tremulous Trailers<\/strong><\/a> where he gives classic horror movie trailers the horror host treatment. As if that is not enough, he also hosts live events called <strong>Lord Blood-Rah\u2019s Nerve Wrackin\u2019 Theater<\/strong> where he does his horror host thing while playing classic horror films in a local theater in the <strong>San Francisco<\/strong> area.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a title=\"The Peoria Theater :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.peoriatheater.com\/peoria_theater\/Home_Events\/Home_Events.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Peoria Theater<\/strong><\/a><em> is an independent movie theater in <strong>Peoria, IL<\/strong>. It has a full bar making it a fun theater experience. The Peoria Theater also is the host theater for <strong>The Drunken Zombie Deadly Double Feature<\/strong>. Once a month, the Drunken Zombie crew show an indie horror film teamed up with a classic public domain horror film.
