New York indie distributor <strong>Zeitgeist Films<\/strong> belatedly picked up the award-winning\u00a0project this past summer for a limited roll-out, which means that this will probably be the only chance that <strong>Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> residents have to watch it on a big screen any time soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a title=\"TROUBLE THE WATER plays Boardman's Art Theatre with filmmakers in attendance :: The News-Gazette\" href=\"http:\/\/www.news-gazette.com\/news\/entertainment\/2008\/10\/05\/urbana_natives_doc_incorporates_katrina_victims_home_videos\" target=\"_blank\">A current <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">News-Gazette<\/span><\/strong> article<\/a> profiles <strong>TROUBLE THE WATER<\/strong> and its co-director <strong>Carl Deal, Jr.<\/strong>, who grew up in Urbana. (This piece delves into the background of the film and its main participants much more effectively than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=249\" target=\"_self\">the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">N-G<\/span> rush job I bitched about<\/a> earlier this year.) Both Deal and producing partner <strong>Tia Lessin<\/strong> will be attending the Art\u00a0tonight, <strong>Monday, October 6,<\/strong> to discuss the documentary and its illustration of an ill-prepared modern society and the methods by which certain members of that society help themselves in order to survive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>TROUBLE THE WATER<\/strong> runs through <strong>Thursday, October 9<\/strong>.
