In light of yesterday\u2019s C-U Biz-en-sc\u00e8ne<\/strong> column<\/a>, during which we admitted a craving for flesh blood to course through the veins of the Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters<\/strong> and everything emerging from within its ephemera-covered walls, we\u2019ve decided to revive a submission pitch that originally went D.O.A. back in the winter. How badly did it bomb? We never received a single contribution<\/em>, one of several recent signals causing us to wonder how often (or well) our dearest readers actually read <\/em>what we\u2019ve been posting for more than five years non-stop. This time, Facebook <\/strong>will be our bitch<\/a> in an effort to not drop the ball twice and we\u2019d like you in on the action. Don\u2019t be shy!<\/p>\n

After reviewing what we posted on January 28, we decided there\u2019s no sin in recycling since we embellished the proposition accurately enough the first time. Starting immediately, \u201cwe\u2019d like to feature your <\/em>words about living la vida cinema<\/em> in MICRO-FILM Country<\/strong>! Please send us no more than 2,000 words total describing five significant movie milestones you\u2019ve encountered in or near Champaign-Urbana, Illinois<\/strong>!<\/a> You could recall awesome theatrical shows, impeccable video viewing, sublime on-set achievements, once-in-a-lifetime celebrity encounters, or anecdotes so uniquely dazzling we <\/em>aren\u2019t even smart enough to come up with them as examples!\u201d<\/p>\n

For those having mild flashbacks to the original text, we\u2019re dropping the requirement that said moments should have taken place during the existence of C-U Blogfidential<\/strong> \u2013 meaning, from February 2006 on \u2013 and have pushed the new due date for your anecdotes to Friday, September 30<\/strong>.
