Not only does the above headline describe today\u2019s Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> weather in a nutshell, but it also reflects how your humble editor feels on the occasion of his 41st trip past the \u201cGo!\u201d square in his lifetime. Elsewhere, we\u2019ve hinted at big plans to take place under the MFHQ<\/strong> roof yet we\u2019re ill prepared to part the fog and reveal our game plan. When the time comes to spill \u2013 and we\u2019re not<\/em> talking about the beer pints to be enjoyed later tonight \u2013 you\u2019ll be the first to know. The organizers also have announced a Call for Papers to tie in with CIFFF, the details for which we\u2019ll share when we have them \u2026 To conclude, we celebrate the beginning of the Virginia Theatre<\/strong>, which first opened her doors to the public 90 years ago this week on December 28, 1921<\/strong>. The Virginia Web site teases<\/a> that an anniversary celebration is in the works including the rededication of its classic Wurlitzer<\/strong> organ, currently being restored by John-Paul Buzard Pipe Organ Builders<\/strong><\/a> a few blocks away in downtown Champaign.
