{"id":4598,"date":"2012-02-20T13:00:01","date_gmt":"2012-02-20T19:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=4598"},"modified":"2014-09-06T14:52:30","modified_gmt":"2014-09-06T20:52:30","slug":"naff-3-to-blast-off-april-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=4598","title":{"rendered":"NAFF 2012 to kick ass April 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Given the wonderful attendance <em>and<\/em> response which greeted <a title=\"NAFF invades the Art tonight! :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=3158\" target=\"_blank\">the second <strong>New Art Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> a year ago at the <a title=\"The Art Theater :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thecuart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Art Theater<\/strong><\/a> in downtown <strong>Champaign<\/strong>, we ecstatically announce the third annual NAFF will take place on <strong>Friday, April 20, 2012<\/strong>, as an attraction of the 10th annual <a title=\"Boneyard Arts Festival 2012 :: 40 North 88 West\" href=\"http:\/\/www.40north.org\/events\/festival.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Boneyard Arts Festival<\/strong><\/a> presented by the <strong>40 North 88 West<\/strong> arts council of <strong>Champaign County<\/strong>. Just like last time, we\u2019ll begin at <strong>5 p.m.<\/strong> and wrap by the stroke of <strong>midnight<\/strong>, showcasing the best independent film features, shorts, and documentaries created by our friends and neighbors! Admission will be free.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But before we place <em>too<\/em> many carts before horses, we call for <em>your<\/em> submissions, filmmakers! Please send a standard definition, non-returnable DVD screener between now and <strong>Wednesday, March 21, 5 p.m. CST<\/strong>, to: <strong>New Art Film Festival, c\/o The Art Theater, 126 W. Church St., Champaign, IL 61820<\/strong>. We will consider independent film work mostly or completely produced in <strong>Illinois<\/strong> and our neighboring states including <strong>Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana<\/strong>, and <strong>Minnesota<\/strong>. If you live in <strong>Champaign-Urbana<\/strong> or the immediate area, feel free to drop off your screener at the Art during business hours in a clearly marked package. There is NO entry fee this year, but <em>please<\/em> be sure to include complete contact information with your DVD.
