The disc will contain the film&#8217;s first-ever English language version and numerous bonus features.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In recent years Turkey has become well-known in America for its &#8220;remakesploitation&#8221; movies &#8211; knock-offs of popular American films such as <strong>STAR WARS<\/strong>, <strong>THE EXORCIST<\/strong>, and <strong>SUPERMAN<\/strong> &#8211; from the 1960s through the 1980s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;I&#8217;m incredibly excited to be putting this release together,&#8221; said producer and Dark Maze president <strong>Ed Glaser<\/strong>. &#8220;I&#8217;m a huge fan of Turkish remakesploitation and I think a lot of folks will really get a kick out of this one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The story revolves around a Turkish commando, Serdar, who must infiltrate and capture a group of terrorists living in the mountains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>RAMPAGE<\/strong> has been unavailable since its original Turkish VHS release in 1986.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">[<em>Since we received this &#8220;immediate release&#8221; a month ago (sorry, folks) Dark Maze has set a specific release date &#8211; <strong>Tuesday, April 28, 2009<\/strong> &#8211; as well as revealed DVD features, which will include an &#8220;audio commentary, a making-of featurette, poster and lobby card gallery, mini poster insert, retro packaging, and more!&#8221; Although several &#8220;collector&#8221; labels have released bootlegs of Turkish &#8220;remakesploitation,&#8221; this is the first official American release we&#8217;re aware of for any of them. Could you imagine a box set of these things?
