This winning effort features the ditty \u201c<strong>Jump Back<\/strong>\u201d from <a title=\"&quot;April's Empire&quot; by The Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchestra :: CDBaby\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cdbaby.com\/cd\/thedukeofukeandhisnovelt\" target=\"_blank\">springtime release <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>April\u2019s Empire<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, the second full-length album by eclectic ensemble <a title=\"The Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchestra @ Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/dukeofukemusic\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchestra<\/strong><\/a>, and is directed by the septet\u2019s tuba player <strong>Lorene Anderson<\/strong>. The Orchestra brings an infectious funk-ragtime fusion to the table as it bops about a public garage; while founder <strong>Dave King<\/strong> inevitably materializes by song\u2019s end, it is live wire Anderson who steals the show.
