Neil St., Champaign, IL<\/strong>, starting at <strong>10 p.m.<\/strong>! In this installment, which takes the place of <a title=\"TTC foresees Lovecraftian fright :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=5208\" target=\"_blank\">our previously announced <strong>H.P. Lovecraft<\/strong> event<\/a>, we conjure visions from the very early 20th century starting with <strong>WHITE ZOMBIE<\/strong> (1932), a rarely seen <strong>Bela Lugosi<\/strong> <em>voudoun<\/em> programmer set in <strong>Haiti<\/strong>, and continuing with <strong>H\u00c4XAN<\/strong> (1922), a Danish pseudo-documentary covering the history of witchcraft through the ages. In fact, the TTC will most likely present the shortened U.S. release titled <strong>WITCHCRAFT THROUGH THE AGES<\/strong> (1968) which features a jazz score as well as narration from the incomparable <strong>William S. Burroughs<\/strong> (<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Naked Lunch<\/span><\/strong>). One or two surprises may also sneak into the program by show time, but we\u2019ll aim to wrap these wily shenanigans within the witching hour so you can extend your pre-<strong>Halloween<\/strong> evening elsewhere!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We hope you will reserve a little time this Friday to enjoy the voodoo that <a title=\"The Psychic Joker :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.psychicjoker.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Psychic Joker<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>C-U Confidential<\/strong> do via the Time Traveling Cinema, a community micro-cinema concept set in a clean and safe environment, newly remodeled and sporting upgraded equipment for an enhanced movie experience!
