You might have seen the moniker appear above his byline in the past, most recently during a short stint with on-line magazine <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Smile Politely<\/strong><\/span>. Koplinski can be quite prolific so we should expect a steady stream of material to appear here; since posting an introduction on <strong>October 22<\/strong>, he has written about new home video releases, teaser trailers for <strong>IRON MAN 3<\/strong> and <strong>CARRIE<\/strong>, the one-night-only <strong>Savoy 16<\/strong> play date for classic chillers <strong>FRANKENSTEIN<\/strong> and <strong>BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN<\/strong>, and the recently concluded <strong>Embarrass Valley Film Festival<\/strong> in <strong>Charleston<\/strong> which highlighted the career of actor <strong>Gene Hackman<\/strong>. We\u2019ll presume \u201cC-S\u201d complements his longer print pieces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2 :: ROGER EBERT MEMOIR \u201cLIFE ITSELF\u201d<br \/>\nOPTIONED FOR ADAPTATION BY JAMES &amp; ZAILLIAN<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Yes, this particular announcement is old news, but it leads one to wonder how acclaimed <strong>Chicago<\/strong> filmmaker <strong>Steve James<\/strong> (<strong>HOOP DREAMS, THE INTERRUPTERS, STEVIE<\/strong>) and <strong>Hollywood<\/strong> class acts <strong>Martin Scorsese<\/strong> (<strong>HUGO, GOODFELLAS, TAXI DRIVER<\/strong>) and <strong>Steven Zaillian<\/strong> (<strong>THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, MONEYBALL, SCHINDLER\u2019S LIST<\/strong>) plan to explore the life of film critic <strong>Roger Ebert<\/strong> in a feature documentary. One would pray a non-academic and non-static approach will be arrived upon before James ventures forth to amass footage for the project, which will officially adapt <a title=\"&quot;Life Itself&quot; by Roger Ebert :: Hachette Book Group\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hachettebookgroup.com\/titles\/roger-ebert\/life-itself\/9780446584975\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ebert\u2019s 2011 memoir, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Life Itself<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, for (presumably) the big screen.
