Sixth St., Springfield<\/strong>, after more than a year in production under the careful watch of director, writer, and executive producer <strong>Kimberly D. Conner<\/strong>. Following her topical dramatic short <strong>THIS LIFE AIN\u2019T PRETTY<\/strong> from two years ago, this \u201cdrama with a hint of comedy\u201d follows an ambitious single mother named Troy Alexander (<strong>Sheree Bynum<\/strong>) who returns to her hometown in the hopes of putting a broken marriage in the past as well as studying to pass the bar. Her friends match up Troy with middle school math teacher Malik Bond (<strong>Dingani Beza<\/strong>) despite her inner convictions that she can fend for herself and son Jordan (<strong>Mesiyah Oduro-Kwarten<\/strong>) without a love interest. Soon after, Troy\u2019s mettle is tested greatly when her ex-husband, family rifts, and health concerns threaten to derail her new life plan. <strong>Michael Higgenbottom, Kevin Craig West, Mel Roberson, Karen Malina White, Thea Camara<\/strong>, and <strong>THIS LIFE<\/strong> lead <strong>Danielle Ward<\/strong> fill out the primary cast of <strong>JUMP IN<\/strong>.
