This past week, your humble editor had the pleasure of making his long-form television debut on the Urbana Public Television<\/strong> (UPTV) program, ART NOW!<\/strong> <\/a>Congenial host Greg Chew<\/strong>, a retired Urbana High School<\/strong> drama teacher and executive director of the 2013 Illinois High School Theatre Festival<\/strong><\/a>, sat down with me, Lisa Cerezo<\/strong>, and Luke Boyce<\/strong> in the auditorium of Champaign<\/strong>\u2019s Art Theater Co-op<\/strong><\/a> to discuss all things New Art Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> including its origin and the upcoming fourth edition on April 12<\/strong>. We also touch upon Champaign Movie Makers, Champaign-Urbana Film Society, Psychic Joker Entertainment, Georges M\u00e9li\u00e8s<\/a><\/strong> and HUGO<\/strong><\/a>, the advent and impact of high-quality consumer video, and other fascinating tidbits we won\u2019t reveal here!
