Later tonight, <strong>Tuesday, August 20, 7 p.m.<\/strong>, at <strong>Shatterglass Studios, 309 S. Neil St., Champaign<\/strong>, the <a title=\"Champaign Movie Makers @ Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ChampaignMovieMakers\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Champaign Movie Makers<\/strong><\/a> crew will sit down with core contributors to the psychological drama \u2013 including director\/cowriter <strong>Mike Boedicker<\/strong>, cowriter\/lead actor <strong>Bill Kephart<\/strong>, and lead actress <strong>Joi Hoffsommer<\/strong>, we presume \u2013 and discuss the two-year-long process which resulted in the piece screened at the <strong>Art Theater Co-op<\/strong> over the weekend. Join the CMM audience to share your <strong>THADDEUS<\/strong> thoughts and questions while they\u2019re fresh in your mind! Conversely, what is disappointing is we at <strong>C-U Blogfidential<\/strong> did not file a timely <strong>THADDEUS<\/strong> preview even though your humble editor viewed a rough cut nearly one full year ago courtesy the filmmakers. (Yes, <a title=\"C-U blogging to pause \u2018til Sept. :: C-U Blogfidential\" href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=6382\" target=\"_blank\">we\u2019re technically still on break<\/a>, but this <em>is<\/em> a milestone \u2026 right?) We\u2019ll see what we can conjure for you when Roselawn books additional C-U and Danville shows in the fall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>CUBlog<\/strong> will now rebound by pointing you to the one-off program called \u201c<strong>Sci-Fi Disco and Dead Unicorns<\/strong>\u201d playing the Art tomorrow, <strong>Wednesday, August 21, 10 p.m.<\/strong>, featuring the completed <strong>New Art Film Festival \u201913<\/strong> selection <a title=\"HEARTSHOT @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HeartshotMovie\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>HEARTSHOT<\/strong><\/a> from <strong>Thomas Nicol<\/strong> and <strong>Joe Taylor<\/strong> as well as a retooled <a title=\"ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE 1970s :: Kill Vampire Lincoln Productions\" href=\"http:\/\/killvampirelincoln.com\/1970\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE 1970s<\/strong><\/a> series from <strong>Chris<\/strong> and <strong>Anne Lukeman<\/strong> and <strong>Kill Vampire Lincoln Productions<\/strong>. While \u201c<strong>1972<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>1973<\/strong>,\u201d and \u201c<strong>1977<\/strong>\u201d have already played festivals and conventions as individual shorts, this configuration \u2013 bowing at last weekend\u2019s <strong>Gen Con<\/strong> gaming extravaganza in <strong>Indianapolis<\/strong> \u2013 presents the complete story arc as five Webisodes. We\u2019re unclear if the segments simply start and end in different places than before with the new 1970s banner appearing up front or if more extensive post-production has taken place, but we <em>can<\/em> tell you new scenes involving working schlub-<em>come<\/em>-robot henchhuman Bud (<strong>Matt Fear<\/strong>) have been added.
