Who says life slows down due to winter break on campus and nasty weather all around here in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois<\/strong>? Unlike this time last year when we willfully dimmed the lights at the Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters<\/strong> and took a breather, we\u2019re scrambling greatly in the present to share our news, views, and discoveries with you because our culture simply won\u2019t quit! We\u2019ve lit up C-U Blogfidential<\/strong> for your reading pleasure 17 times in the past eight weeks compared to three during the same period last year, and we have yet to enter our traditional springtime frenzy leading up to both the New Art Film Festival<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span> and Roger Ebert\u2019s Film Festival<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span> in April. Yet, we wouldn\u2019t have it any other way!<\/p>\n

Apart from organizing the fifth annual NAFF and issuing the landmark eighth issue of C-U Confidential<\/strong> digest<\/span><\/a><\/span> in the months ahead, your humble editor has multiple literary irons in the fire to keep our dearest readers\u2019 minds warm and toasty while visiting CUBlog<\/strong>!
