Let&#8217;s crank this shit up to 11 for it <em>is<\/em> April in <strong>UIUC<\/strong>-land, which means the annual flood of local cultural madness is upon us! But then, who would have <em>ever<\/em> thought that the road to admission in the <strong>United States<\/strong> for the following would run through <strong>Shampoo-Banana<\/strong>, of all places:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YDugy8JuhTg\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It would have been too easy to post this on or around <strong>April Fool&#8217;s Day<\/strong>,\u00a0but we resisted\u00a0for the mere fact that this epic actually <em>exists<\/em>. <strong>Dark Maze Studios<\/strong> of <strong>Champaign<\/strong> has done the near-impossible and licensed a legitimate slice of Turkish rip-off cinema, dubbed it into English, and slated it for DVD release on <strong>Friday, April 24<\/strong>, smack dab in the middle of &#8220;<strong>Ebertfest<\/strong>&#8220;! Yep, <strong><a title=\"RAMPAGE @ Dark Maze Studios\" href=\"http:\/\/www.darkmaze.com\/rampage\/about.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RAMPAGE<\/a><\/strong> a.k.a <strong>KORKUSUZ<\/strong>, a budget-minded nod to the <strong>RAMBO<\/strong> mania of the Eighties made during that decade, marches forth onto American shores where no similar production has gone before. Is our great country ready for top-billed <strong>Serdar<\/strong>, even if he&#8217;s launching those sweet-sounding grenades\u00a023 years after the fact?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We&#8217;ll let you ponder the outer limits of the universe as you watch the <strong>RAMPAGE<\/strong> trailer over and over again in disbelief. In fact, you can relive the rippling mayhem in public when this and other Dark Maze previews play the first-ever <strong>C-U Confidential<\/strong> local film show at <strong>Caffe Paradiso, 801 S.
