Alright, kids, bow your heads for a moment of silence – Jason Butler<\/strong> and Annie Fitzgerald<\/strong> are indeed moving to Portland in September. We’ll miss ’em, gosh darn it, but it seems that old business must still be attended to before their departure.<\/p>\n

As you should know from JB’s interview (see item: 4\/22\/06<\/a>), he and Mark Peaslee<\/strong> have been swinging back and forth between two B-movie-ish serials, WEREWOLF CEMETERY<\/strong>\u00a0and THE ADVENTURES OF THE SCREAMING APE<\/strong>. On Sunday, July 30, 9:30 p.m.<\/strong>, in the beer garden of Mike ‘n’ Molly’s, 105 N. Market St., Champaign<\/strong>, the animals will run amuck one more time for the hometown folks. APE: PART 1<\/strong>\u00a0kicks off the show, followed by WEREWOLF: EPISODE 2<\/strong>\u00a0at 10:00 p.m.<\/strong> and the premiere of APE: PART 2<\/strong>\u00a0at 12:30 a.m.<\/strong>, topped off by something JB has titled “Last Call”<\/strong> at 1:55 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To whet your appetite, make sure to check out the trailers for WEREWOLF CEMETERY<\/strong> and\u00a0the super-secret BrainSmart literary adaptation<\/strong> during the MICRO-FILM Movie Shows<\/strong> this week, also at Mike ‘n’ Molly’s<\/strong>! Both on Sunday, July 23, 9:30 p.m.<\/strong>, and Wednesday, July 26, 9:30 p.m.<\/strong>, they’ll play before THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS VS. A MUMMY<\/strong> and THE MONSTER OF PHANTOM LAKE<\/strong> (see item: 7\/17\/06<\/a>). Admission will be $5 each night for the whole monsterific enchilada. Please join us!<\/em><\/p>\n
