In this instance, we&#8217;ll make the case that the new music video for &#8220;<strong>Let Me Inside When I Knock On Your Door<\/strong>&#8221; by local lo-fi group <strong>Morgan Orion and the Constellations<\/strong> is as much a fun little ditty as the tune that&#8217;s front and center on its soundtrack. Why not stream the goods while you&#8217;re here, dear reader:<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"450\" height=\"364\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/riJMsG5qULA&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"450\" height=\"364\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/riJMsG5qULA&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Anchored by a clean &#8220;band in a box&#8221; composite effect, the music video was produced by <strong>Sam Ambler<\/strong> of <strong>Mongoose Productions<\/strong>, which has apparently been AWOL since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=108\" target=\"_self\">the last time we reported on their doings<\/a>, and <strong>Matt HarsH<\/strong> of <strong>HarshPro<\/strong>. Look fast and you will recognize several Mongoose regulars like <strong>Ernie Springer<\/strong> and <strong>Gabrielle Reisman<\/strong>, Orion&#8217;s older sister. The video&#8217;s release comes hot on the heels of the debut of the <strong>Litterbox Collective<\/strong>, a live performance nucleus formed by Orion and several fellow artists; look for multi-band bills bearing the Litterbox handle in the very near future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It&#8217;s too bad that we didn&#8217;t have more public showings of the locally-made A\/V persuasion, apart from the occasional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.micro-film-magazine.com\/cublog\/?p=734\" target=\"_self\">this<\/a> and <a title=\"BNFilmFest :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bnfilmfest.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">that<\/a>. Following in the tradition of their earlier &#8220;<strong>Film Dependency<\/strong>&#8221; festivals, maybe Ambler and Reisman would consider launching a companion lo-\/no-fi film group to Litterbox called &#8211; what else? &#8211; the Letterbox Collective.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I&#8217;ll leave the tip jar up front.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">~ Jason Pankoke<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The stars of Mongoose Productions seem to revolve around Morgan Orion and the Constellations.
