We\u2019ve been editing and writing so constantly these past few months \u2013 including a good handful of articles and columns we have in store for you by year\u2019s end \u2013 the halfway point on the calendar between the last and next <a title=\"New Art Film Festival :: Official Site\" href=\"http:\/\/newartfilmfestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>New Art Film Festival<\/strong><\/span><\/a> managed to sneak up on us this week. To mark the occasion, we\u2019re sharing a partial photo set the awesome and talented <strong>Dora Valkanova<\/strong> shot for us during the fifth annual NAFF at the <a title=\"The Art Theater Co-op :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arttheater.coop\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Art Theater Co-op<\/strong><\/span><\/a> way back on <strong>April 13<\/strong>. Feel free to hover your cursor over these images to learn who is who, even though it spoils nothing to flat-out tell <strong>Luke Boyce, Andrew Gleason, Griffin Hammond, Brett Hays, Chris<\/strong> and <strong>Anne Lukeman, Tim Meyers, Thomas Nicol, Oliver Peng, Matt Shivers, Christopher Sotelo, Andrew Stengele, Jonathan Ward<\/strong>, and the indomitable <strong>Z<\/strong> they are present and accounted for! Also, this might be the first time <strong>C-U Blogfidential<\/strong> has revealed what the interior of our beloved Art looks like; the group portrait above uses that all-important silver screen as a backdrop while the lobby picture below clearly shows the celebrity mural commissioned by previous owner <strong>Greg Boardman<\/strong>. (His successor, <strong>Sanford Hess<\/strong>, is standing outside.) In the remainder you can spot various related artifacts: a streetscape featuring the Art\u2019s unmistakable marquee, the corner of a promotional poster for <a title=\"Champaign Urbana Theater History :: Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/cutheaterhistory.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #800000;\"><strong>The Art Theater: Playing Movies for 100 Years<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, and the NAFF \u201914 one-sheet drawn up by the <strong>ThirdSide<\/strong> agency. Did we ever mention we absolutely dig having the Art within walking distance of MFHQ? <em>No? <\/em>Shame on us, then.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Look for these and other good-to-great snaps to finally reach <a title=\"C-U Confidential @ Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cuconfidential\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">our <strong>Facebook<\/strong> page<\/span><\/a> next week.
