Multiplexes and television sets are no substitute for a true cinema experience!<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This outing, we drop you right into the action as the forecast for local movie-watching events heats up with equal waves of politics, intrigue, social commentary, romance, and of course, monsters!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">One last time, <strong>Jason Butler<\/strong> takes over <strong>Mike &#8216;n&#8217; Molly&#8217;s, 105 N. Market St., Champaign, IL<\/strong>, to show his recent output before heading off to the Pacific Northwest later this week. On <strong>Sunday, October 15, 9 p.m.<\/strong> (that would be tonight), JB will play in succession <strong>TEETH OF THE BOTTLE, ADVENTURES OF THE SCREAMING APE PART 1<\/strong>, and <strong>WEREWOLF CEMETERY EPISODE I<\/strong>. On <strong>Monday, October 16, 9 p.m.<\/strong> (that would be tomorrow night), he perpetuates the Brainsmart-ness with <strong>THORAXX II, SCREAMING APE PART 2<\/strong>, and <strong>WEREWOLF CEMETERY EPISODE II<\/strong>. Admission will be a measly $3 each night. Be there or risk the wrath of Murph&#8217;s M&#8217;n&#8217;M Nation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Also, <strong>THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS VS. A MUMMY<\/strong> stalks again just in time for All Hallow&#8217;s Eve. Head for the auditorum of the <strong>Natural History Building<\/strong> on the <strong>University of Illinois quad<\/strong> on <strong>Friday, October 27, 8 p.m.<\/strong> Admission is free; pencil tricks and potato shooters\u00a0for <strong>ROCKY HORROR<\/strong>-style shenanigans are optional.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Continuing at <strong>Boardman&#8217;s Art Theatre, 126 W. Church St., Champaign, IL<\/strong>, through <strong>Thursday, October 19<\/strong>, is the <strong>Tournees French Film Festival<\/strong>, which kicked off this past Friday with the Kino International release <strong>LITTLE JERUSALEM<\/strong>, directed by <strong>Karin Albou<\/strong>. As of this writing, filmgoers have at least two more chances to catch each of the festival&#8217;s six selections, which also include <strong>MONDOVINO, KINGS AND QUEEN, FAR SIDE OF THE MOON, WILD SIDE<\/strong>, and <strong>CLEAN<\/strong> with <strong>Maggie Cheung<\/strong> (<strong>HERO<\/strong>). Springfield, Ave., Champaign, IL<\/strong>, has two presentations left in its <strong>Human Rights Film Series<\/strong> for the fall semester. Launched in 2003, the bi-annual program brings international social issues to the public&#8217;s attention through the screening and discussion of pertinent documentaries. Upcoming are <strong>GHOSTS OF RWANDA<\/strong> on <strong>Thursday, October 19, 7 p.m.<\/strong>, and <strong>SIR!
