Illini Film & Video meets Aug. 24
The Illini Film & Video club at the University of Illinois will meet tonight, Wednesday, August 24, 6:30 p.m., in Room 104 of the English Building, 608 S. Wright St., Champaign, for their first gathering of the 2011-12 academic year. Meetings not only allow interested members of the student body to learn about and get involved in film-making projects, fund-raising events, and volunteer or paid job opportunities outside of IFV, but may inspire seat-of-your-pants movie shooting as implied on the IFV Web page.
This year’s officers are Adam Dreyfuss (President), Ashlea Thomsen (Vice President/Secretary), Robbie McBeath (Treasurer), Jeremy Davis (Webmaster), and Kyle Griffith (Event Coordinator). Regular weekly meetings will take place on Wednesday nights in the same location unless signage at English 104 directs you otherwise; write illinifilmandvideo [at] gmail [dot] com to be added to their Mailing List and receive all the up-to-date news!
