AMBER ROSE available as VOD

The going has certainly been slow at the Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters this summer, gang, but we finally rejoin the land of the blogging with aplomb since we can’t help but notice steady activity all around us in the name of the movies of Champaign, Urbana, and the cities beyond!

Amongst the editorial we hope to publish for you in the coming weeks is a fresh conversation with Champaign independent film director Mike Trippiedi detailing recent accomplishments. (You can read about his older work in the archive interviews we presented back in January and March.) Until we catch up with the in-demand actor and writer, we’ll share a couple of timely tidbits starting with the debut last week of Trippiedi’s feature film AMBER ROSE on Amazon.com as both streaming video and MOD disc! The taut drama stars Carolyn Kodes-Atkinson, Joe Dempsey, Steven Keen, Amy Stoch, and Zoe Capps in a cautionary tale of dark secrets and spurned trust.

Trippiedi also joined the self-publishing legions by launching Weblogs covering different aspects of the entertainment world. While his animation history forum Mike’s Toon Town sports very little content, Not Very Famous … but should be has been updated more than 100 times since November with brief profiles of character actors known for their television and movie work. Chances are very good you will recognize some of them by face and at least a few of them by name.
