CMG 1.2 on hold, MF 8 up next
Since the street date of issue 1.2 of The CineMicroGraph [see item: 8/23/08] came and went last week, we figure an explanation is in order. The reason is pure logisitics. CMG easily became an expendable item on the overcrowded plate here at the Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters, so we decided to shelve it despite the good response it gathered. If you really dug this little “news-zine” effort, let us know and we’ll reconsider if enough like-minded citizens speak up.
Among the projects vying for our limited resources is the one that (hopefully) all of you have been waiting for, the long-in-gestation eighth issue of MICRO-FILM. All we’ll divulge for right now is the target street date – Tuesday, March 3, 2009 – but the way we’re going to deliver it into your lap will be an unconventional first for us. Look for a formal announcement here and on the MICRO-FILM News Blog once we solidify the distribution and content details.
