Illini Film & Video meets Aug. 28
The Illini Film & Video club at the University of Illinois will meet tonight, Thursday, August 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the basement lounge of the English Building, 608 S. Wright St., Champaign, for their second gathering of the 2008-09 academic year. These meetings allow interested members of the student body to learn about and get involved in film-making projects, fund-raising events, and volunteer or paid job opportunities outside of IFV.
This year’s officers include several familiar faces: Joey Burgess (President), Anne Shivers (Vice President), Tim Meyers (Treasurer), Andrew Nygard (Secretary), Michael J. West (Equipment Manager), Julia Pollack and Mia Conner (Event Directors), Andrew Stengele (Webmaster/Archivist), and Ariel Ranieri (Director of Public Relations). After today, regular weekly meetings will take place on Monday nights in the same location, also at 7:30 p.m.
