Illini Film & Video meets Sept. 4

The Illini Film & Video club at the University of Illinois will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4, 6 p.m., in Room 104 of the English Building, 608 S. Wright St., Urbana, for their first gathering of the 2013-14 academic year. (An “alternate info session” will take place in the same room Thursday, September 5, 7 p.m., for those who can’t attend tomorrow night.) Meetings allow interested members of the student body to learn about and get involved in film-making projects, fund-raising events, and volunteer or paid job opportunities outside of IFV. There is also the IFV Web page, through which you can track projects and other happenings, and their YouTube channel, where you can watch examples of their work!

This year’s officers are Michael Kouzuchowski (President), Marlon Mueller-Soppart (Vice President), Emily Jahn (Treasurer), Christian Loera (Webmaster), Noelle Africh, Amanda Toledo (Events Coordinators), Sherry Yi (Social Media Chair), and Jigar Patel (Equipment Manager). Regular weekly meetings will take place on Wednesday nights in the same location unless signage at English 104 directs you otherwise; write illinifilmandvideo [at] gmail [dot] com to be added to their Mailing List and receive all the up-to-date news!
