Illini Film Video meets Sept. 9, 10

The Illini Film & Video club at the University of Illinois will meet tonight, Wednesday, September 9, 7:30 p.m., in Room 217 of the Noyes Laboratory of Chemistry, 505 S. Mathews Ave., Urbana, for their first gathering of the 2015-16 academic year. (A comparable info session will take place across the Main Quad the next evening, Thursday, September 10, 7:30 p.m., in Room 160 of the English Building, 608 S. Wright St., Urbana, for those who can’t attend later today.) Meetings allow interested members of the student body to learn about and get involved in film-making projects, fund-raising events, video challenges, and volunteer or paid job opportunities outside of IFV. There are also the IFV Web page, through which you can track projects and other happenings, and YouTube channel, where you can watch examples of their work!
