If you think we’re going to dredge up the story about Brendan Fraser and co. filming the Harvard graduation scene in WITH HONORS on the UIUC Main Quad in 1993 … well, we’ll get to that one later. Right now, let’s talk real life instead of reel life.

It’s time for the Champaign-Urbana community to give itself a boost in supporting the integration of film and media production into our very fabric of being. That includes teaching the kids that making movies is alright.

Your editor made a movie once. The tragedy is not what happened on screen, but the fact it never made it to any screen at all.

The title of the post pretty much says it all. Don’t worry. We’ll be back like Ahnuld.

With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, you’d think Year 7 would conjure allusions to “luck” and many other positive outpourings. Instead, a whole other litany of four-letter words comes to mind. It’s a good thing your humble editor knows how to edit for general consumption.
