Filmmakers of all ages have a week and a half left to submit their short subjects to the brand-new CU International Film Festival, which is set to debut in October on the UIUC campus.

In an ideal situation, the New Art Film Festival would be joining other downstate Illinois film events in engaging and enthralling you. In this case, the NAFF cheers on their festival friends from afar.

A decade is a long while to be pulling one’s own weight in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, but the New Art Film Festival has managed such a feat. Get involved in marking the milestone by entering your film in Year 10!

We are legitimately excited to be able to issue C-U Confidential #10, folks, although it’s clear we won’t be doing Confidential business as usual going forward. Give us a moment to have a moment, then.

It feels like we’ve been greasing the wheels forever to put C-U Confidential issue 10 on the board. We are hours away from the end of our current funding campaign and a third strike against it looms.

Just like the headline says, we’ll begin our on-line drive to partly fund the printing of C-U Confidential digest #10 on November 26, 2018, also known as (shudder) Cyber Monday.

We may also have legitimacy and dependability in our print history, but our budget lifeline has dried up. It’s finally time to beg and grovel publicly for help to put C-U Confidential back on the board.

The New Art Film Festival has added time to their Call for Entries. The final date to send in submissions is now September 7, 2018. They want to see your stuff, Champaign-Urbana. Really, they do.

The tenth issue of C-U Confidential has been rescheduled for August-September 2018 release in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and other cities. Make sure your advertising message will be seen in its pages!

The ninth annual New Art Film Festival has been scheduled for October 30, 2018, at the Art Theater in downtown Champaign, Illinois. Submission window for the NAFF is open from now until August 31!
